Heather Quinn visited Immanuel Kindergarten in 2014 with Carolyn Murray. She works in Hong Kong and shared the needs of the children of a small village in South Sudan with staff and pupils at Beacon Hill School, Hong Kong. As a result the three year 5 classes (Ages 9-10 years) Decided to use their Business course to raise money to help children go to school.
SInce 2015 Beacon Hill School in Hong Kong has been a faithful and supportive partner and Year 5 have worked hard each year to raise money to help the staff of Immanuel Kindergarten purchase essential equipment.
They have raised an incredible total of £15,569.58 !!!

Beacon Hill School 2019
Thank you so much to Y5 at Beacon HIll School Hong Kong for once again using their Business project to raise an amazing £5,157.58 for the Kindergarten. This will help to purchase new more powerful solar panels for the Kindergarten to enable staff to run a printer, photocopier and charge printers. This will make an incredible difference to the lives of the staff and the quality of education the children recieve.
Year 5 sold handicrafts and toys they have made such as slime, lava lamps, sand/sea shakers, book marks, stress balls and decorated note books. They also created some some games for other students to play.

Beacon Hill School 2018
Year 5 at Beacon Hill School have once again generously donated the proceeds of their Business Project to Immanuel Kindergarten. They raised an incredible £3720 to buy some outdoor play equipment for the children in Yei. The balance from this very generous donation will help buy porridge for the children to have a meal each day and resources such as paper and pencils. The 3 slide shows below shows the wonderful young people and the hard work this fantastic year group put into raising this incredible amount of money.

Beacon Hill School 2017
Many thanks again to the children of Beacon Hill School Hong Kong . The year 5 children have once again donated the proceeds of their business project to help the young children of South Sudan go to school. Their generosity is amazing and through hard work buying and selling things and commitment to help others they have raised an incredible £2960. Beacon Hill School 2016
This year the year 5 children's amazing efforts have raised £2600 which will purchase resources to help the children in Yei continue their education during a difficult time in their country. It will also help to purchase materials and roofing for the community to start building a small school in Agoro. The photographs of these generous children are shown here.

The three year 5 classes (Ages 9-10 years) used their Business course to raise money for the Kindergarten 'build a well' project.They raised an incredible 13,507:70 Hong Kong Dollars (£1132) to help build a bore hole for Immanuel Kindergarten.
